Biming has always been a very hard-working boy. When he was a student, he would study very hard and sincerely but he could never get good marks. He would wake up without his parents having to get him up and he would never miss the school. His attendance was always over 95% but his marks only about 60%. Biming is from a lower middle class family and he knew his limitations. Biming planned to do graduation in Optometry.
After completing his graduation in Optometry, Biming opened an optical store in the middle of the Chinatown area in Singapore. The store started doing very well from the very first week due to Biming’s discipline, punctuality, sincerity and hard-work. The profit margins Biming kept were so low that he couldn’t afford an assistant, he would do all the work by himself and due to him being busy all the time, he would sometimes miss very important little things like aircon repair which in turn would lower the number of the customers his store had. Biming is a very shrewd young man and his only choice is the Chan Brothers when it gets to getting his AC fixed or serviced.
Somchair became an internet freak the first day he encountered the internet. He was 15 back then and today he is 26. Somchair was born in the town of Songkhla in Bangkok, but his family moved to Nakhon Ratchasima when Somchair was 12. After Somchair encountered the internet, Somchair became totally obsessed with it. The year was 2007 and the internet was quite different back then.
New ideas started would pop in the mind of Somchair whenever he worked on the internet. Somchair’s father was against him using the internet as he was scared that he would start opening the websites that he shouldn’t and become addicted to those. But Somchair was only interested in the business side of the internet. After Somchair completed the school, he requested his father that he didn’t want to go to a college, he wants to make a career on the internet and he wants to start by opening a Search Engine Optimization firm. His father first refused but Somchair was so attached to the internet that his father feared that he might do something to his life if he doesn’t listen to his wish.
Somchair inaugurated his SEO office in a popular area in the town of Nakhon Ratchasima. The area is commercially very popular and Somchair was certain that the office would do great, but he had no idea about the notorious geckos (ตุ๊กแก) that roam in all the shops, stores and offices of that area. Somchair’s office was full of geckos only after 3 days of the inauguration, but Somchair was an internet freak and he founded the solution to the problem within an hour of encountering the geckos, he discovered a product at Shopee where they sell a herbal product that goes by the name ‘Crying Lizards’. The product doesn’t kill the geckos but rather make them run away from the place and never come back.
Mr. Jaspal Chilka was a successful businessman. He succeeded in creating one of the greatest shoes brands in India. He started off very young (only when he was 19). He started off as a local shoe store employee whose job was to check the size of the customers’ feet and ask them for refreshments. After about a couple of years when the shoe store’s owner decided to migrate from India, the shoe store owner asked Chilka whether he would like to be in charge of the store, Mr. Chilka was more than happy to do the same and he made the store the most popular in the local vicinity within an year.
After saving up some money, Chilka decided to get into the manufacturing of the shoes and he partnered with a rich friend of his who was more than happy to be a part of the venture. They both made it bigger than they expected and at the age of 65, Mr. Chilka decided to retire and pass on his legacy to both his sons.
The sons thought that they were spending too much on the advertisement and they reduced the advertising budget to 0.5%. The brand suffered a lot due to this. The sales reduced to 40% of what it was in the previous year, due to low sales, they now had no money to spend on the Television advertisements. They only channels they could afford to put their advertisements on were local cable channels. One day, one of the sons read on a forum about email marketing India and decided to contact them. The email marketing company worked day and night on their project and returned the brand image back and the sales too. Now, email marketing is the company’s most favorite way of advertising and they spend lots of time and money on the same.
